This competition was created for the late Hanne Pedersen, who bravely fought cancer. To honor her memory and contributions, an annual one-act playwriting contest featuring playwrights from Santa Barbara, Ventura, and Los Angeles Counties has been created.
The 2024 winning plays to be premiered are:
- "This House is Legacy" by Sophie Goldstein
- "Happy Merry" by Michael P. Adams
- "October Surprise" by Robert Weibezahl
- "Extended Family" by Leslie Vitanza AnnRenee
Performance Dates:
General Admission: $25
Seniors/Students: $20
Doors open 30 minutes before the show.
