“A Nostalgic Christmas: The Village of Joy” Opens in Solvang on November 26, 2025
Solvang, CA — November 2025 — ZFolio Gallery invites guests of all ages to step into the wonder of the season with the return of its beloved holiday exhibit, A Nostalgic Christmas: The Village of Joy. Opening November 26, the exhibit brings back the joy, imagination, and timeless traditions that delighted hundreds of visitors during its debut in 2024.
At the heart of this magical winter display is an intricate Christmas Village handcrafted by longtime Christmas collector Joseph Ross and his eleven-year-old granddaughter, Carly Mendizza. With glowing lights, antique holiday figures, miniature woodland scenes, festive trains, and whimsical details throughout, the exhibit invites guests into a storybook world where the spirit of the season comes alive.
“Visitors will feel like they’ve walked into a living memory,” say Zdena Jiroutova and Michael Mendizza, owners of ZFolio Gallery. “It’s a celebration of nostalgia, craftsmanship, and the kind of holiday joy we all long to share.”
The immersive display spans the entire gallery and has been carefully designed to enchant guests of all ages. Whether revisiting cherished traditions or experiencing this heartwarming spectacle for the first time, The Village of Joy offers a space to slow down, connect, and rediscover the wonder of Christmas.
