Associated Raza Educators ( ARE) welcome the community to their educational workshop and membership drive.
The political educational topic is "Defend Ethnic Studies." The special guest speakers are trailblazers in the committed movement of Ethnic Studies education of and for the community. Guests are Dr. Theresa Montano, professor of Chicana/o Studies at Cal State Northridge, and Sean Arce, PhD, of Xicanx Institute of Teaching and Organizing (XITO)
The Ortega Park Steering Committee hosts this workshop in partnership with ARE as part of its mission to share knowledge about issues affecting our neighborhood and youth. Join us !
