Adult Explorations In Art Course

If you’ve wanted to sign up for an art class, but haven’t been sure which of course is best for you, this exploration in 3 different mediums is just your speed.

Together we will learn the basics of 3 different mediums including charcoal, pastel and watercolor. Supplies will be included. We’ll explore the fundamentals of composition and color theory first and then head into getting to know each of the mediums listed above. We’ll have unique projects that highlight the medium we’re learning about. You will learn drawing skills before moving into value studies and finally adding color.

Classes are 2 hours long on Wednesday evenings beginning October 5 and ending on December 14. (6-8:30pm) No class Nov 23. Participants are welcome to bring snacks and alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages to enjoy during class.

Class will be held at our art studio on Alisal in Solvang.

Class is limited to 12 students and will require a minimum of 6 to be conducted.
