Rubenstein Chan is pleased to present the first solo exhibition, It's Complicated, by Montecito artist Gerrie Shapiro, marking her return to the gallery world after more than two decades.
Working primarily in acrylic on canvas, Shapiro creates vivid, message-driven paintings alongside her interactive sculptural and wearable pieces that invite touch and movement, revealing shifting narratives from every angle.
Shapiro dedicates this exhibition as a tribute to her father, Jason Shapiro OBM.
A portion of sales will be donated to the Friendship Center Adult Day Services and Chabad of Montecito.
The show runs from March 7 through April 5.
The gallery is open Saturday and Sunday, 12-5 pm.
