Teri Coffee McDuffie has taught self-defense in Santa Barbara since 1987. Coastal Self Defense Academy is the nonprofit that brings self-defense training to the most vulnerable in our community: children, seniors and those with disabilities so that they may experience the joy and freedom of knowing what to do when there is a threat to their safety.
Local author Maureen McGrath uses her book The Tale of the Cat With No Tail in interactive workshops designed to teach children that we are all unique and that is good!
