Carrie Givens and Morgan Green, award winning Santa Barbara pastelists, know their own stomping grounds - the south coast's beaches, the valley vineyards and ranches, and the craggy Sierra Madre - provide everything they need for dramatic and beautiful paintings. Still, they wandered farther for more subjects that are part of the California dream from surfing rockbound coasts, to Sierra snowfall, to high dessert sunsets.
"California Dreamin" opens June 1st, at Gallery Los Olivos.
Two special meet the artist days - Sunday June 5th, Morgan Green, and Saturday June 18th, Carrie Givens. Both artists will be at the gallery 10 am - 5pm. The exhibit will be on display through June 30th.
