Book Description-The Dark Room: A Memoir of Triumph Claudia Chotzen’s tumultuous childhood was filled with chaos, adventure, politics, danger and love. To the outside world her family seemed “picture perfect” but inside their home a darker reality existed. Her mother, who should have been her fiercest protector, instead became her greatest danger. Author Biography - Prior to writing The Dark Room: A Memoir of Triumph Claudia Chotzen was an attorney and a law clerk for a justice on the Hawaii Supreme Court. Later she became a television producer, creating award-winning documentaries for the NBC and CBS affiliates in Honolulu. She is a mother to two sons, a grandmother to four grandsons, and a partner to her husband for almost 50 years.
