The Chris Potter Art Foundation, recently formed in memory of the late plein air artist, is hosting an "Afternoon of Art, Community, & Giving" that includes an art show, live auction, and announcements about the foundation's first-ever scholarship recipients.
The free, open-to-all gathering will be held in the garden of the Potter family's property on Hollister Avenue.
Original art and prints by Potter will be on sale as well as some other pieces by his friends and family.
The art sale will run from 2-4 p.m., and then the announcements begin.
