Clay Studio is excited to offer Clay at Home summer camp from June 29–July 31 for ages 8–12. During week-long live virtual sessions, students will learn to make their own clay creations while incorporating elements of design and nature.

About Clay at Home Summer Camp
Clay is the perfect artistic vehicle for children to explore the elements and foundations of art and design. These elements include color, line, shape, form, texture, space and value. Daily sessions will be divided into three live 30-minute zoom sessions with 30 minutes of collaborative open studio time in between (three hours of camp each day). Highly trained art instructors with years of teaching children (in-person and online) within the Santa Barbara community will share their insight and knowledge around art, design, and the importance of environmental respect. A multifaceted curriculum allows children to engage in hands-on art projects at home to experience an exciting and fun time!
Each week has a theme that will be expressed through handbuilding and decorating with clay and will also explore other mediums. Your child can participate in a single week session, or multiple weeks! Work made during classes will be fired, glazed, and available for pickup two weeks after the workshop. No prior clay experience needed – Zoom and reliable internet is required.
