Free your Saturday for some good, authentic discussion and a cup of joe during the community discussion series Coffee with a Black Guy with Santa Barbara-resident James Joyce III. Presented by Pacifica Graduate Institute Alumni Association (PGIAA), Santa Barbara City College Foundation and the Lois & Walter Capps Project, the event gives the community a chance to share stories, have conversations and impart perspective.
Joyce will talk about raising awareness on issues dealing with race and racism. The goal is simple: Coffee. Connection. Conversation.
This event will be free to the community. Coffee and refreshments will be served.
