Community Organizing Gatherings Continue Across Santa Barbara County on May 24

Santa Barbara, CA — May 22, 2025 — Community members are invited to join the Santa Barbara Transgender Advocacy Network (SBTAN) once again this Saturday, May 24, from 12:00 to 2:00 PM, for a countywide community organizing session in Santa Barbara, Goleta, and Isla Vista. These gatherings are a continuation of grassroots resistance against the immoral, illegal, and unconstitutional actions of the current regime—and a chance to deepen local organizing efforts.

Participants are encouraged to choose the location most convenient to them. Space is limited at each site, so advance registration is requested at sbtan.org/may24 . The goal is to strengthen strategic collaboration and community-driven action.

SBTAN is also seeking volunteers to help coordinate future meetings and support smooth operations. Those interested are encouraged to reach out directly to Megan Overland at megan@sbtan.org.
