Dennis Allen on Gardening & Urban Biodiversity

How can gardeners help to reverse the decline of biodiversity by creating habitat for the insect populations on which all life depends?

Dennis is Chair of award-winning green building company Allen Construction and is Chair of the Bren Graduate School Dean’s Council at UCSB. In this talk he will focus on how urban areas can do a lot to stem the decline of insect populations, and how taking care of insects can be engaging and fun, as well as being key to our continuing survival on Earth.
