Discover Pilates: An Introductory Workshop

You may have heard that Pilates can help you improve posture, strength, balance, flexibility, back and joint health among other things, but are you still not quite sure what it is or how it could benefit you specifically?

Why not experience it and get your questions answered? In honor of Pilates Day, join instructor Alexis Pittmon for a basic and experiential introduction to Pilates. Alexis has experience with a wide variety of ages, fitness levels and health conditions. She thrives on helping people feel well and move well and has helped many to improve balance, strength and flexibility as well as decrease back and joint pain.

This workshop will include:

Some basic Pilates movements

Demonstrations of Pilates equipment

Discussion about the many benefits of Pilates
