More Than Just A Party Band is a feature-length documentary film about the beloved local cultural icon, Spencer Barnitz, front man for the band Spencer The Gardener, and his 40-year journey to define his version of creative success, and along the way, create a brand of music that some say sounds like the soul of Santa Barbara.
