Free Workshop: "Fruit-Tree Summer Pruning - Practical Tips and Hands-On"

The UC Master Gardeners of Santa Barbara County and Mesa Harmony Garden invite you to join us for a free workshop, Fruit-Tree Summer Pruning - Practical Tips and Hands-On Experience, to be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at 10am-12pm.
Larry Salzman, Permaculture Designer at Mesa Harmony Garden, and UC Master Gardener Russ Baldocchi, will share a research-based presentation, first discussing elements of summer pruning to enable control of both the size of plants and fruit quality, followed by hands-on practical experience in teams led by experienced pruners. This is an in-depth treatment of this essential part of the backyard tree-care calendar. Bring your own gloves and pruners if you have them, but don’t worry if you don't!
