Visitors to Gallery Los Olivos this June will enjoy Art From the Heart, a new exhibit featuring paintings by acclaimed Central Coast artists Sheryl Knight and Linda Mutti. The exhibit celebrates the beauty of California landscapes through vibrant works in pastel, oil, and gouache, and will be on view daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., June 1–30.Friends and painting companions for more than a decade, Knight and Mutti share a passion for capturing the spirit of the landscape through plein air painting and expressive color.Knight, an award-winning plein air painter and Signature Member of several national art organizations including American Women Artists and California Art Club, is inspired by ever-changing skies, clouds, marshes, and trees.Mutti, a Distinguished Pastelist Member of the Pastel Society of the West Coast and Signature Member of the Pastel Society of America, draws inspiration from the California landscape and hopes viewers will share in the joy she finds in painting it.
