Museum of Contemporary Art Santa Barbara (MCASB) is delighted to announce a special holiday pop-up shop, GIFT STUDIO, located in Suite 317 of the Paseo Nuevo Shopping Center open from Thursday, December 10, 2020, until Sunday, January 3, 2021. Highlights include highly collectible limited-edition Barry McGee towels; beautiful and sustainable jewelry from LA-based artist, Tanya Aguiñiga; artist designed limited-edition gift wrap by Oakland-based artist Kota Ezawa; and selected works from local artists who will be donating half of their proceeds to the Museum.
In addition, we are delighted to feature a selection of one-of-a-kind artworks from SlingShot Art Studio and Gallery, including ceramics, woven and felt sculptures, drawings, and paintings. Santa Barbara based non-profit SlingShot promotes artistic opportunities for artists with intellectual and developmental disabilities, recognizing each artist they work with for their unique talent, inspired story-telling, and artistic vision. Half of the proceeds from each sale of SlingShot artworks will directly benefit SlingShot Art Studio and Gallery.
