Hemming 101: Basic Alterations & Serger Techniques

You’ll learn professional basics, including how to measure and pin fabric for a perfectly straight stitch. We’ll also demystify the serger, showing you exactly how and when to use one for a clean, durable finish. This class will give you the confidence to tailor your own textiles, saving you money on professional tailoring.
Please bring the items you’d like to hem and work on them during the session. All tools and practice materials are provided.
