In-Person and Online: CINMS Sanctuary Advisory Council Meeting

We invite you to join the next Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary (CINMS) Advisory Council meeting on Friday, May 19, from 9:00 am to 12:45 pm PT. The meeting will be held in a hybrid format as a primarily in-person event at the Santa Barbara Zoo with an option for joining online.
The meeting agenda includes exciting updates on whale conservation efforts and the Vessel Speed Reduction program, a presentation from a UCSB Mechanical Engineering capstone project team focused on reducing balloon waste, updates on enforcement and vessel tracking, welcoming new council members, and more!
