Two Santa Barbara songwriters: Jena Douglas, and her rock-influenced power ballads, and Sherie Davis, and her folk-rock influences, release their new albums together. Album: Hook Your Chin To A Star - This is an album about Mamaw, Jena’s Grandmother. From the luscious green hills of Kentucky to the dry desert of Arizona, and then finally the scenic coastal town of Santa Barbara. This is an American story. This is Mamaw’s story. Jena will also feature some songs she wrote and recorded with Robinson Eikenberry, who passed away in 2017.

Album: My Heart Returns To Me - Sherie’s music is folk-rock with universal themes of life and death, cosmic and practical, and light and dark. Her lyrics often question what the hell is going on in the world now. Her music has been described as light-filled music for a hardened world. As with Jena, many of Sherie’s songs were recorded by Robinson Eikenberry and that is why they are using one of Robinson’s quotes, “Don’t Not Do It” for their dual album release.
