Santa Barbara theatre school InterAct's Spring program, ‘Broadway or Bust!” welcome applicants age 6 to 16 to join the cast. The musical is set here in Santa Barbara and features a story-line about a group of tenacious teens trying to save a failing community theatre.
Open to: All children age 6 to 16. (InterAct also offers a shortened program for 4 and 5 year olds). InterAct is open for all children, with or without stage experience.
The show: Broadway or Bust is an original musical, which is written specially for InterAct students and cast.
Location: Casting and rehearsals take place during InterAct’s usual three hour classes on Saturday mornings. Applications taken in January 2020
InterAct is planning two performances in March, using the black box theatre at Garden Street Academy.
What is included: InterAct provides a full musical theatre program of weekly classes in singing, dance and acting. Students train in weekly classes with performances in March 2020
