2nd Fridays Art @ Santa Barbara Tennis Club
Aquatic is the theme of this competition. Artists are simply asked to interpret all things Aquatic and Water. Thinking outside the box is encouraged. All medium is accepted - painting, sculpture, photography, paper, or digital arts. All interpretations of the theme are welcome. Please note no pedestal art will be accepted.

Professor of Art Emerita, Westmont College
Susan Savage received her BA in Art and MFA in Painting from the University of California Santa Barbara. She has had a long and rich career in secondary and higher education teaching Art in the Santa Barbara community. She taught for 23 years at Westmont College and served as chair of the art department for ten of those years. Retiring in 2014 she now dedicates her time to her painting.
SUBMISSION DATES: April 9th - May 28th.
WHERE: 2nd Fridays Art @ Santa Barbara Tennis Club
BEST OF SHOW: 3-Month Membership at the S.B. Tennis Club
NOTIFICATION: of accepted artists by May 29th
EXHIBIT DATES: June 3rd - July 5th
ARTISTS RECEPTION & AWARDS: June 9th, 4:30- 6:00
IN-GATHERING OF ARTWORK: June 2nd, 7:15 am.
DE-INSTALL: July 6th, 8-10:00am
GUIDELINES FOR ARTWORK:
•All artwork must hang on the wall. No pedestal works will be accepted.
•Artwork may not exceed 28”x 28”x 10” deep, including framing.
•Image submissions - 72 DPI Jpeg.
•Include your name, title, media, framed size, and retail price.
•JPG’s emailed to: info@susantibbles.com with AQUATIC in the subject bar.
A Paypal invoice will follow.
Entry Fee: $35 for first images. Additional images may be submitted at $5 each payable via Paypal.
It is not necessary to have a PayPal account to pay your entry fee, PayPal accepts credit cards.
GUIDELINES FOR ACCEPTED WORKS:
Works must be properly wired, using eye screws or D-rings.
Saw-tooth/Bar-hooks will not be accepted.
All works shall be for sale. The gallery splits 60% to the artist and 40% to the gallery.
Only quality frames will be accepted.
Photo Giclee’s on canvas are not accepted. Photos of Aluminum and wood are accepted.
