‘ Kurinuki’ is a Japanese term relating to a particular hand-forming process, which employs carving out a shaped solid block of clay to obtain interior space. We’ll discuss the history of this technique while making a set of 2-4 cups that you can enjoy at home. Intended for all ages and all skill levels. Students will choose one glaze and Clay Studio staff will glaze and fire all pieces.
