Kyle’s music is influenced by delta blues and funk and he has studied other genres in-depth like jazz, flamenco, and bluegrass that also come out in his songwriting. He co-wrote and performed on 6-time Grammy nominee, Robben Ford’s 2015 record “Into the Sun” selling at #2 on the blues charts when it was released, which also featured a cover of one of Swan's songs, "Same Train" and appearances from ZZ Ward, Grammy winner Keb Mo, Gov't Mule and Allman Brothers guitarist Warren Haynes, pedal steel guitar star Robert Randolph, six-string slide legend Sonny Landreth and up-and-coming star Tyler Bryant. Kyle is now writing for Robben's next record and sang lead vocals on one of those upcoming tracks.
