"LET'S FACE IT !" is a brand new series of hand painted watercolor women.
Born and raised in New York, Leslie maintains a cutting edge: continually pushing her artwork to greater heights.
After attending The Academy of Art College, in SF, Marcus immersed herself in the fashion world of Los Angeles, creating hand painted, exclusive textile designs for apparel & home furnishings.
Leslie’s unique textile designs appear throughout her contemporary fine art paintings of vibrant female figures and women draped in embellished decorative designs.
In January 2012, Leslie’s artwork was installed in the permanent collection at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.
In 2020, The Ojai Art Commission, nominated Leslie to restore and paint the utility box located on North Ventura Avenue, Ojai: a tribute to Ojai’s Topa Topa mountains and wild poppies, titled “Gratitude”.
Residing in Ojai for over 25 years, you can visit Leslie’s studio by appointment in downtown Ojai, California.
