Local Photo Fundraiser to Benefit Direct Relief

Emily Hart-Roberts Photography joins fundraising forces with Direct Relief International

100% PROCEEDS FROM STUDIO PORTRAIT SESSIONS DONATED TO DIRECT RELIEF INTERNATIONAL FOR THE DISPLACED PEOPLE OF UKRAINE

HUMANITARIAN CRISIS IN UKRAINE: CAN YOU HELP? Do you feel helpless about the humanitarian disaster in the Ukraine, too? I feel so distraught watching the (senseless) war in Ukraine unfold on tv. My parents were both young victims of WWII, and my mother has been deeply affected watching the recent suffering of the Ukranian people, especially the children. She sees herself in these children's scared faces and I hear it in her voice. I feel compelled to help in some way.

MY SOLUTION: As a longtime Santa Barbara portrait photographer, I have always done work on location (and still do) but I just opened my new baby portrait studio and will be DONATING THE PROCEEDS FROM THE FIRST 6 INFANT PORTRAIT SESSIONS to benefit Direct Relief International with their relief efforts in Ukraine and neighboring countries.

For each donation of $250 or more, you will receive a studio portrait session with you and your newborn, and a collection of precious photographs from your baby's first year of life that you will cherish forever. (all small digital files for social media use are included) It's a WIN-WIN!

100% of the proceeds from these portrait sessions will be donated to Direct Relief International. I am hoping to raise $1,500 towards a shipment of medical aid including field medic backpacks, inhalers, essential medicines, oxygen concentrators and personal care items for people displaced by the conflict.

Please join me in supporting this worthy organization and their work for the people of Ukraine.

THE HEROES: Direct Relief is a local Santa Barbara nonprofit working in the U.S. and internationally with life-saving medical resources to care for the world’s most vulnerable people. DRI is responding to the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine and other affected countries by mobilizing medical and emergency resources to partners in the region. 30 tons of medical aid have so far been deployed to Ukraine.

PLEASE JOIN ME: If you are pregnant or have a brand new baby in the family, this is the perfect chance to create priceless photographic memories to cherish and share. Don't have a new baby? Consider purchasing a non-expiring gift certificate for the new parents in your family or friend circle!

ABOUT MY WORK: Emily's photographic style is classic. Most often in black and white,
she keeps props to a minimum so as not to distract from the beautiful raw emotional bond between parent and child. Simple and natural, skin on skin, classic and timeless.

To reserve a studio session, go to:

https://www.mightycause.com/story/Dri-Ukraine and donate $250 or more.

Then call, text or e-mail me to set up a portrait session. It's that easy!
