Matinee at the J: SBJFF Kick-off

Kick-off the 2020 SB Jewish Film Festival with a screening of the Israeli film "Redemption" featured at last year’s festival.
About the film: Religious Menachem, a father to a six-year-old daughter who is diagnosed with cancer, finds a creative solution to fund her treatments: he reunites his rock band from his earlier non-religious days for one last tour. Along the way, he learns that only a new connection to his past and to his music can pave the road to his own redemption.
Before the film, SBJFF Co-chair Mashey Bernstein will share some insights into the upcoming festival to be held March 11-15, 2020 at the New Vic Theatre.
