National Prescription Drug Take Back Day

National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is a public awareness event to provide Americans with a safe, secure and judgment-free way to dispose of unused medicine which could otherwise be easily misused by young kids, teenagers and pets and can pollute the environment if flushed down drains or improperly dumped outside.

Where: Come stop by the Santa Barbara Farmer's Market (on the corner of Santa Barbara and Cota St)

When: Saturday, April 30, 8:00 am to 1:00 pm

Who: Santa Barbara Opioid Safety Coalition (SBOSC) members will be tabling and offering free drug take-back shipping materials. We are also giving away swag for anyone who takes our community survey—along with the opportunity to enter a $50 CVS Gift Card raffle!

Email vista@sbclinics.org for more information.
