Kids ages 5 and up can join the Channel City Kennel Club dogs and owners at the Goleta Valley Library to practice their emerging reading skills with one of their furry friends.
School-age children who are able to read independently may sign up for 15-minute sessions on a first-come, first-served basis.
Sign-ups open 30 minutes before the program begins.
