Perspectives on Pride: Stonewall to the Supreme Court and Beyond brings together a diverse, all-ages panel of the LGBTQ+ community leaders. Keynote speaker Jim Obergefell is the plaintiff in the 2015 landmark Supreme Court case legalizing marriage equality. Dr. Ellen Broidy is co-founder of the first Gay Pride March in 1970. Dr. Aiden Hirshfield is a transgender scholar, Fielding alum and a rising star in the media psychology field. Anaiya Boutan is a 2019 Pacific Pride Foundation Youth Advocate. The event is co-presented by Fielding Graduate University and Pacific Pride Foundation with Platinum sponsors Santa Barbara City College Foundation, Montecito Bank & Trust, and the Santa Barbara Independent.
