Pinot Noir Clonal Tasting at Fiddlehead Cellars

Pinot noir clones are one of the most discussed areas of winemaking for this ethereal grape. Over several vintages, Winemaker/Owner Kathy Joseph did a very cool, very unique, experiment to showcase how the combination of clones impacts her "spice rack" and influences the final blend.

This is a super interesting tasting opportunity to take the discussion of clones in a new direction. The "One Clone" bottling will showcase (you guessed it!) just one clone "Two Clone" layers in a second clone, and yep, "Three Clone" brings in a third to the final blend. Then compare and contrast each with a second vintage of these very limited releases. Taste first hand the winemakers challenge and creativity to marry clones in different ways.
