Poetry Reading by Moira Egan and David Starkey

Poet Moira Egan will read from her new book The Furies at the Unity of Santa Barbara Chapel at 5 p.m. on Saturday, October 18.
Egan has published five books of poetry in the United States and four in Italy, including Amore e morte, a bilingual collection of new and selected poems. Her work has been featured in journals and anthologies on four continents. Also a prize-winning translator, she lives in Rome with her husband, Damiano Abeni. Santa Barbara Poet Laureate Emeritus will begin the evening with a brief reading from his recent work.
