"Rhapsody in Hue" features Vicki Andersen's landscape paintings from locations both local and abroad, re-imagined with vibrant colors and beautifully balanced natural forms. Vicki's paintings often offer the viewer a harmonious resting place between realism and abstraction, entwining classical elements of Impressionism and Post-Impressionism, with spectacular organic color and architectural relationships.
Neil Andersson's recent abstract paintings focus on colors and shapes that form familiar, yet compelling patterns that refer to nature, but exist in dimensions all their own - at once ethereal yet concrete. The works are constructed with visual elements of the natural world, but reorganized in intriguingly abstract patterns and spaces. Influenced by both Cubism and Abstract Impressionism, the abstract paintings exist in the world of the imagination. The show runs through August 31, 2025.
