You're Invited! Rochin Adobe Porch Excavation Open House
Join us on Saturday, June 7th at El Presidio de Santa Bárbara State Historic Park. Check out the Rochin Adobe (1856), a City Landmark which is currently undergoing an archaeological excavation project in order to replace its deteriorating porch deck.
This open house is a unique opportunity to see the archaeology of the Presidio preserved beneath the porch before the new deck is installed. Come by anytime between 11:00am and 2:00pm on June 7th to learn about the preservation work and the history of this fascinating building.
