Solstice Adornment Workshop

Art From Scrap is teaming up with the Summer Solstice Celebration for a fun and free two hour workshop. From 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, the Art From Scrap Parking Lot will transform into an outdoor community workshop space filled with creative reuse materials.
Join us for this fun workshop in collaboration with the Summer Solstice Celebration. Solstice Artist-in-Residence Diane Arnold, Face-Painter Joan Melendez, Summer Solstice Celebration board member Mary Price and Art From Scrap staff member Rachel Palmer will lead this fun, interactive workshop.
Join us to on Saturday, June 15th. Practice the art of reuse, create your own unique Solstice attire, and get ready for the parade at Art From Scrap!
The Art From Scrap parking lot will transform for the afternoon into a workshop space for the community to create together. Practice some creative reuse while making some fun projects. There will also be extra tables set up if community members have their own solstice project to work on and want to connect and be near the materials at Art From Scrap while they work. We hope you join us to create and get excited to see this year's solstice celebration.
The workshop is free and open to the public.
