Surfrider Foundation General Meeting

Join Surfrider Foundation Santa Barbara Chapter on February 21, 2019, 7 PM at the Watershed Resource Center at Hendry's Beach for our first General Meeting and Mixer of the new year. Our guest speaker is the distinguished professor Gretchen Hofmann from our own UCSB Department of Ecology, Evolution, and Marine Biology. She has served on numerous scientific advisory panels and has studied many aspects of our ocean's ecology. She will be talking about the state of Californias kelp forests and related matters. This will be a really fascinating talk. As usual, the meeting is open to all, free, and will include pizza and light refreshments.
