GENERAL MEETING & MIXER - Offshore Wind Presentation by Kristen Hislop THIS THURSDAY, APRIL 20, 7-9 PM!

Kristen Hislop will be presenting on the offshore wind at the Santa Barbara Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation's General Meeting and Mixer on Thursday, April 20th (this Thursday!) from 7 PM to 9 PM at the Watershed Resource Center at Hendry's! Pizza and refreshments will be provided.

This is an AMAZING opportunity to learn about environmental advocacy from an experienced local expert in the field of ocean policy. Invite others who might be interested too!!

Kristen Hislop has worked on offshore wind issues for the past seven years, focused on ensuring environmental and community impacts of offshore wind are at the forefront of decision-making in California. In this talk, Kristen will discuss the current status of offshore wind in California, challenges, and opportunities. Kristen has worked for the Environmental Defense Center, California Coastal Commission, and Office of National Marine Sanctuaries, and she received her MESM and BA from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
