DevaDawn is our Minister of Music this Sunday as we continue honoring the power of feminine medicine with a womyn DJ every week in July! Dawn says, “It’s the height of summer and I’m feeling the spirit of adventure! I recently saw red tail hawk flying alongside hang gliders. It inspired gratitude in me for nature and humanity existing side by side on the wind of breath, the breath that breathes us all. Ahhh, the magic of nature! My set this Sunday is inspired by that live element.What I love most about playing for ecstatic dance is being of service to community through the music I choose, my offerings for the journey of every dancing soul in the room.For me, the dance journey is about letting go of what we don’t need and embodying the joy of pure movement. It’s an awesome experience to expand our container as wide as you want to feel, to soar, dive, crawl, growl or roar. Our dance can hold it all!"
Santa Barbara Dance Tribe invites you to celebrate life through movement. We gather every Sunday as a community for an ecstatic dance that welcomes authentic expression, freedom of movement, and embodied connection. Admission is $15 donation.
