The Santa Ynez Valley Chorale, featuring Director Hyejin Jung, will present its Spring Concert, “The Joy of Music” on Saturday, April 26th at 3pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Solvang, CA.. Admission is free, and donations are gratefully accepted. There are no tickets required. The Chorale recommends arriving early to ensure a seat. This is a new venue for the Chorale, as they usually hold their concerts in the Veterans’ Hall in Solvang, and importantly, there will be one concert only.
Jung states, “Our Spring concert features a beautiful blend of classical, jazzy, and contemporary choral works celebrating the universal themes of love, joy, and community. Songs include familiar favorites such as “Oh Shanandoah”, “A River in My Soul” and “Buffalo Gals.” Join us for an afternoon of uplifting melodies and heartfelt harmonies!” Jung has a Master of Music in Choral Conducting. She is completing her Doctoral of Musical Arts Degree in Choral Music at the University of Southern California.
