Veterans Connect @ the Library, Grand Opening!

Join us as we celebrate the opening of the Central Library's Vets Connect center. This program aims to support veterans and connect them to the benefits they are due. Welcoming remarks, veteran stories, and appetizers.
Speakers Include: Jessica Cadiente, Library Director; Salud Carbajal, U.S. Representative; Cathy Murillo, Mayor; Das Williams, County Supervisor
Vets Connect is a partnership between the Santa Barbara Public Library, Cal Vet, and the CA State Library that aims to serve the more than 2 million veterans in California by connecting them to resources, services, and the benefits they are due. Spouses, survivors, and dependents are also eligible. This program is supported in part by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, administered in California by the State Librarian.
