Vocal Toning Circle

Vocal Toning is a surprisingly powerful and playful practice that guides participants in accessing the voice for emotional expression and harmonic attunement with others. Grounded in ancient traditions of sacred chant and sound healing, vocal toning does not require any musical skill, talent, or experience. This is a safe space to allow yourself the freedom to play with sound and silence, noticing how your own voice resonates in the body, as well as the interplay of other voices in the room. Participants routinely report feeling a range of emotions, nearly always culminating in joyfulness as the group moves from dissonance and chaos to organic, beautiful harmonies.
