WINGS Competition -2nd Fridays Art @ SBTC

2nd Fridays Art is pleased to announce our annual juried exhibition Wings.

What better way to kick off the holidays? Wings is the theme at the Santa Barbara Tennis Club Gallery.

With more than 30 artists participating this year; oil painters, photographers and mixed media artist will all be represented. We look forward to seeing you there!

Juror of awards:

Stan Evenson

Stan Evenson earned his BFA in Advertising Design from Art Center College of Design in 1974. He was hired by A&M Records to join their creative department designing album covers and promotional materials. He opened his own design agency, Evenson Design Group, serving as the Creative Director and CEO for forty years. Stan is included in the Album Cover Hall of Fame and has three design pieces in the Permanent Collection of the Library of Congress. Beginning in 2014, Stan transitioned from designer to fine artist, experimenting with paint and collage. He is currently a member of SBVA and a board member of SBSA. Stan’s work has been shown extensively in galleries throughout California and the Pacific Northwest.
