On June 26, the Santa Barbara Independent released the first-ever annual Santa Barbara Green Guide in collaboration with Bluedot Living and the Community Environmental Council (CEC). This new comprehensive guide is a sustainable living magazine with climate news and solutions for our area.
The launch party happened at the CEC's Environmental Hub on State Street, and donors, sponsors, and contributors celebrated its release. The guide was introduced by Bluedot Living Founder Vicki Riskin, Independent Editor-in-Chief Marianne Partridge, and CEC's CEO Sigrid Wright.
The guide took more than a year of collaboration and features resources guides for sustainability and managing your home and garden in our community. From cycling to birding to healthy recipes, there is something for everyone.
