Charged with stalking, burglary, battery, brandishing a weapon other than a firearm, resisting arrest, and assaulting a peace officer, Thomas Brostromrich, 43, of Goleta was arrested by Sheriff’s deputies on 12/9 at the Hollister Avenue mobile home park where he lives.
According to a Sheriff’s report, Brostromrich had been stalking a 13-year-old female park resident for weeks before he entered the girl’s home uninvited while her grandfather was babysitting. When confronted, Brostromrich -- who was wearing only underwear at the time -- reportedly threatened the grandfather with a nearby skateboard before fleeing to his own trailer, where he was combative with arriving deputies.
