Homeless Houston Animals Arrive in Santa Barbara

Santa Barbara animal shelters took in more than 100 dogs and 30 cats without owners from the Houston area in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. The animals were on a euthanasia list as overpacked Texas shelters were forced to prioritize evacuated pets with owners. They're now being housed at the Santa Barbara Humane Society and ASAP. Despite their ordeal, say shelter officials, they remain in good spirits.
