Homeless is a diverse problem.
We used to have a more integrated system where those of society who don't fit neatly into boxes still had a place and purpose. On our Rancho homestead there was always a collection of aunties and tios who were curanderas, stable men, handy people, house workers; all were useful and rich. Poor, young, old, we all interacted, not living in isolated enclaves.
