Santa Barbara residents can soon add another celebrity to their list of famous neighbors. Gwyneth Paltrow just bought an almost $5-million luxury estate in town, but it will need some renovation work before it’s ready.
The house currently has four bedrooms and four bathrooms, with a large pool in the back overlooking more than two acres of land. The 5,200-square-foot home includes a property next door with another three rooms for potential guests.
Paltrow just started her own lifestyle publication, goop , which focuses on beauty products and clothes. She and her ex-husband Chris Martin have recently put up a few of their properties for sale as well. Paltrow purchased her Santa Barbara home through Sotheby’s International Realty, with Suzanne Perkins as the listing agent.
