A Santa Barbara photographer was arrested last Thursday for sex crimes against a juvenile. Keith Moore, 29, was taken into custody at his home and booked into County Jail on felony charges of sodomy with a person under 18 and oral copulation with a person under 18.
Police spokesperson Sgt. Riley Harwood said detectives had recently initiated a child molestation investigation that centered on Moore, and they discovered he had engaged in multiple sexual acts with the victim over the course of five months. The victim is a Santa Barbara resident, Harwood said.
Moore's work as a professional photographer work "may have facilitated contact with [other] youth," Harwood said. Anyone with knowledge of other crimes perpetrated by Moore is asked to contact SBPD Detective Douglas Klug at (805) 897-2346 / dklug@sbpd.com.
