Public Help Needed to ID Credit Card Thief

After a stolen credit card was used at several stores in Santa Maria and twice at Home Depot, law enforcement officials have asked the public to help identify a male suspect in security camera footage dated November 17.

Described in a Sheriff’s Office press release as a “white male adult, approximately 25 years of age, light to medium build, with a thin beard,” the suspect wore a backwards baseball cap, a two-tone black and grey jacket, and tan pants during the alleged crimes.

Early on November 17, the suspect reportedly stole the credit card from a wallet left in an unlocked car, said the Sheriff’s Office press release. Anyone with information on the crime or the suspect may leave an anonymous tip at (805) 681-4171.
